You will continue to the legendary Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred ceremonial centers of the ancient Inca empire. Then, you will head to the outskirts to explore the impressive archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuamán, with its colossal stones; Q'enqo, with its mysterious altars; Puka Pukara, an ancient control fortress; and Tambomachay, a shrine to water and fertility.
