Cusco 6 Days

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we embark on an adventure through the majestic Sacred Valley of the Incas, one of the most fertile and sacred regions of the ancient empire.

Our first stop will be at the Taray viewpoint, from where you will get an impressive panoramic view of the valley, with its farmland stretching between mountains and rivers. From there we will head to Pisac, a charming town known for its colorful artisan market and its imposing archaeological site, which rises high on the hills and holds ancient agricultural terraces and Inca temples.

Then, we continue to Urubamba, the heart of the valley, where we will enjoy a delicious Andean buffet lunch at a restaurant surrounded by nature.

In the afternoon, we will explore the majestic fortress of Ollantaytambo, a military, agricultural and religious complex that was the scene of one of the few Inca victories against the Spanish conquistadors. Its colossal walls and stepped terraces will leave you speechless.

Overnight in Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town where the cobblestone streets follow the same layout as centuries ago.

Today you will experience one of the most anticipated moments of the trip: the visit to Machu Picchu, the jewel of the Inca Empire and one of the wonders of the modern world.

After breakfast, we will board the panoramic train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, an unforgettable journey through deep valleys, mist-covered mountains and landscapes that seem taken from a dream.

Upon arriving at the town, we will take the bus that climbs the winding Hiram Bingham road, until reaching the entrance to the mythical citadel. Once there, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours, touring its main sectors: the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Plaza, the Intihuatana, agricultural terraces, ceremonial enclosures and spectacular viewpoints.

You will then have free time to explore on your own, take photos from different angles or simply contemplate the mystery that surrounds this sacred place.

At the end, we will descend again to Aguas Calientes by bus to board the return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

After breakfast, we will set off for the highlands of the Sacred Valley to explore one of the most enigmatic and photogenic circuits of Cusco: Maras and Moray.

First, we will visit Moray, a set of circular agricultural terraces believed to have functioned as an Inca laboratory for the study of microclimates and crop adaptation. This place, with its amphitheater-shaped design, reveals the deep knowledge the Incas had of agriculture, engineering and astronomy.

Then we continue to the impressive Maras Salt Mines, where more than 3,000 pools of white salt stretch across the mountainsides. This surreal landscape, still in use by local communities, offers a fascinating mix of living history and natural beauty.

In the afternoon, we will return to Cusco so you can enjoy your last free night. You can take the opportunity to stroll through its illuminated colonial streets, visit a local gallery or simply relax at a café overlooking the Plaza de Armas.

Overnight in Cusco, with the Andean experience almost complete.

Get ready for a day full of nature and adventure. We will start very early, around 4:00 a.m., to set out on the journey to the Cusco Andes. Along the way, we will make a stop to enjoy a comforting breakfast while the sun begins to light up the snow-capped peaks.

The hike begins at Soraypampa, from where we will begin an ascent of approximately 1.5 hours until reaching one of the most magical natural destinations in Peru: the Humantay Lagoon, located at more than 4,200 m.a.s.l.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a mirror of turquoise waters nestled between the majestic Humantay and Salkantay snow peaks. You will have time to rest, capture incredible photographs, breathe the pure Andean air and feel the connection with this sacred environment.

After this unforgettable moment, we will begin the return to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon. You will have the night free to enjoy a last dinner at your own pace, share your experiences and prepare for the return the next day.

After a few intense days touring the most emblematic landscapes of the ancient Inca Empire, the time comes to say goodbye to this magical land.

You will enjoy a last breakfast at your hotel, while remembering the experiences you lived: the ancestral temples, the fertile valleys, the energy of Machu Picchu and the immensity of the Andes.

At the previously coordinated time, our team will pick you up for the transfer to the airport, making sure your departure is comfortable and on time.
