I didn't feel alone even though I was far from home — they're very attentive. They kept asking how my trip was going, and I enjoyed Machu Picchu so much I forgot to take more photos. The only thing I didn't like was how cold Cusco's main square got at night. Other than that, I loved the trip.

The best time is during the dry season, from May to October. During these months you will have sunny days and very little chance of rain, ideal for trekking and tours of Machu Picchu. The rainy season runs from November to April.
